Spicy Blackberry Margarita Sour – Juicy blackberries, spicy jalapeños, a generous splash of tequila, all shaken up with an egg white for a fun sour twist. Sweet with a kick, super simple, and the perfect moody cocktail to sip on.

Happy Saturday! So excited to share this September cocktail—it just feels right for this time of year. Light and pretty, but with those moody fall vibes. Can you believe fall is only 12 days away?

New York has been amazing! I’ve never visited in September before, but it’s absolutely beautiful. I’ll share more tomorrow—yesterday was the best, and I know today will be too! But for now, let’s jump into the recipe details.

I wanted to make something fun for September before we kick off our fall cocktail series. Consider this a little sneak peek!

Lately, I’ve been loving the idea of mixing and matching drink recipes, kind of blending them into one. This is my go-to spicy margarita, but with an egg white for a sour twist.

When I’m coming up with drink recipes, I always try to sweeten them naturally to keep the sugar low. Since I’m obsessed with fruit, I usually grab fresh berries and sweeten with honey or maple syrup.

This time, I went with blackberries and a little heat from jalapeños. Not only did I have both on hand, but I was totally in love with their deep, dark blue-purple color—I knew they’d make a gorgeous drink.

Just muddle the berries and jalapeños together until they burst (super easy with berries!), and the jalapeño infuses the drink with spice. Then add the tequila and shake it up! After that, add the egg white (if you want—I love it!) and shake again.

I know it’s a little unconventional, but I really wanted to play around with this—and it was so fun! Mixing this up makes any night feel special and eases us into fall cocktail season.
