Spread the love

The Dark Rose – A cozy, sweet, and utterly delicious winter drink (or mocktail). It’s a romantic take on the classic Moscow Mule, swapping vodka for tequila. Mix tequila with a splash of raspberry liqueur (Chambord), pomegranate juice, lemon, and ginger beer. Top it off with rose petals for the prettiest winter cocktail. The mocktail version is just as lovely—recipe included

Back today with a Valentine’s Day-inspired drink that’s extra special! I spotted these gorgeous glasses and had to share this recipe—in these glasses, of course.

A simple tequila-ginger cocktail (or mocktail) to toast a romantic winter night with your favorite people!

Whether it’s your sweetheart, your best girlfriends, or family and friends, this is the drink for Valentine’s Day.

I whipped up the mocktail for my little sister, Asher, and me as a Valentine’s treat—such a fun way to celebrate the season together!

No matter who you share it with, this drink is a guaranteed hit.

Here’s how it’s done:

Step 1: Fill a cocktail glass with ice
I went with coupe glasses (sold out, but these coupe glasses are an adorable alternative) for a fancy, romantic vibe. But use whatever stemware you love—or even your favorite rocks glass!

Step 2: Shake, shake, shake
In a cocktail shaker (or a glass jar in a pinch), combine tequila, raspberry liqueur, pomegranate juice, and lemon juice. Shake to mix, then add ice and shake again until chilled. Strain into your ice-filled glass.

Step 3: Add ginger beer
Pour ginger beer over the top. Drop in a small spoonful of pomegranate arils (seeds), and if you’re feeling fancy, a couple of rose petals too. It’s that extra touch that makes it so romantic.
